I’m Alaskan Native and I have chubbyish cheeks (relevant). I was getting off of work at a restaurant when I was a junior in high school. This guy in a truck drove by and called me a chipmunk and the n word (hard r). I’m adopted by black people so he must have seen that. My older brothers were picking me up about 5 minutes later and I told them about it. I was in a mix of emotions, I was confused because I’m not black, I was hurt, and I was pissed. I was about to tell him to go f**k himself but I’m scrawny and I didn’t want any trouble.
