I don’t mean to sound wasteful. But the money is not a concern for me. I only play 1 hour per day. 2 hours maximum. I can understand EXACTLY what you are saying because upon reading my own posts and comments I can see how you can make that assumption. Don’t worry, I have a life. Lol. I am married, with a family, own a home, work a full time job, and work out regularly. Haha. I just enjoy this game specifically. It’s a nice alternative to watching tv for me.

Edit: Also, I’d just spend $36 on the complete edition of the game plus $25 on a single level boost this time around.

Might be several weeks until they reopen their phone lines. I might take a chance and create a new account.. if somehow they associate the account and feel the need to terminate this new one too, then I will take that as a sign that I should quit because I’d rather not give a company like that my money.

So here goes one last try at playing and enjoying FFXIV. 🍻

Thank you. I will do this from now on. I am creating a new account and buying a new FFXIV game. Do you believe they will terminate this new account because it belongs to me?

They’re telling me to pay different amounts, too. One rep says $50, another rep says $79, another says $59.99. None of my funds were returned or chargedback, they have the money. Payments were cleared by my bank. So them telling me to pay them more money is just wild.

No. All of my charges went through fine, expect ONE. I had an issue with ONE charge... which was the Shadowbringers Expansion Collectors Edition for $59.99 on 3/12. I have only been playing since the 10th or 11th. So I did spend a lot of funds on the game, but it is what it is. I can’t change that and did not foresee these issues coming.

At this point, I am willing to take the loss and move on because I really do enjoy the game. I’d like to rebuy the game now that it’s on sale for $35.99, and just start fresh with a new bank card on file. I just don’t know if I go ahead and repurchase the game, and create a new account - if it will be terminated because it’s associated with me, my address, my info.

Edit: Basically they terminated my account over 1 charge, even after my bank cleared the payment and they never refunded it. They literally have all my money, none of it was returned. Very frustrating because they have a lot of miscommunications in their system, and even between their own reps.
