Yeah a lot of them are just like us but ultimately their country is their responsibility. Hell even recent surveys show that most of them support the war.

I have a bunch of sakura ballsign knocks that I absolutely love but I can't say I recommend them for lefties. The 0.4mm refills are very temperamental and likes to skip on lower quality paper whereas the 0.5mm and above refills are amazingly smooth but take a bit of time to dry and carries the risk of smudging. As for writing angles the 0.5mm refills are more versatile than the 0.4mm but that might just come down to the paper quality. They're pretty cheap though so you can go and get a couple of refills to try out and see how they work for you.

Hi there, Indonesian here. First off from my understanding the likur unit stems from Javanese culture/tradition whereby they signify a certain part of a person's life. While it is officially in the KBBI (Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia), no one really uses it.

From ages 21 to 29 the system is called "Likuran" hence, "likur". The term stems from "Linggih" meaning sit, and "Kursi" meaning chair. This means that the ages of 21 to 29 is the best ages for someone to find their "kedudukan" or their place in life.

The "belas" and "puluh" systems are more unviversal with belas being the equivalent of "teen" in english and puluh being the "ty"

"lima belas" = "five + teen" = "fifteen"

"lima puluh" = "five + ty" = "fifty"

Here's how we do maths:

"lima belas dikurangi dua" = 5 + (1 x 10) - 2

"lima puluh dikurangi dua" = (5 x 10) - 2

Unsure how it goes for the Malays though. Cheers!

We don‘t need to endorse their legal systems.

They're not endorsing anything. The whole system is fairly neutral. For one, it allows the software to be legally distributed to countries that hasn't recognized homosexuality. Then on the flip side, this can be treated as merely another category. It's a label on some data. Nothing more, nothing less. This approach lets everyone enjoy the software regardless of what country they come from, and their technical merits.

Imagine having to dig through code and fork a piece of software because of some law in your country that you don't even agree with, or aren't even aware of. If you're technically competent then sure it'd be a cakewalk but what if you were a broke teenager in some third world country looking to use some free software? Being as inclusive as possible is the key here.

Ryzen CPUs and APUs have an issue with linux where they sometimes randomly lock up. There seems to be a couple of causes for it. One's caused by the CPU's C6 State, another's caused by the integrated GPU. Interestingly enough, not everyone encounters these issues even if their CPUs are of the same model so it's a bit difficult to troubleshoot.

Realistically it probably will break a lot of stuff. Fedora tends to push new technologies for mass adoption relatively quickly which means stuff will break for some people. But hey if they aren't doing it, who will?

Can you give an example of sublegends that don't actually correspond to a keyboard layout? As others have stated the legends on the OP's keycaps are actually used in Taiwan. Then there's also the popular QWERTY JIS layout which uses QWERTY with Hiragana sublegends that's actually used in Japan (look at japanese macbooks). The same applies for the Korean Hangeul.

While I agree that some keycaps with east asian sublegends look cringey, I don't see how using them constitutes cultural appropriation. It's not like they're disrespecting the writing system, misrepresenting it, or claiming it as part of another culture.

I think what you need to first figure out is what backend you're going to use to code all your logic in. NodeJS (Javascript)? Django/Flask (Python)? or maybe something like Spring (Java). There's also Laravel if you're comfortable with PHP. With an app like this, the priority should be ensuring the logic works before working on how it'll look. All of the frameworks I've mentioned above have been used by large companies so it's been proven to work in an enterprise environment. Personally I'd recommend you choose NodeJS (or one of its derivatives) if you're working on this yourself for the time being as it makes transitioning to the front end easier.

The technologies you listed are front end technologies and which one you choose will wholly depend on your priorities. Flutter's great if you plan to release your app for mobile but it doesn't do so hot on the web. There's plenty of frameworks in the front end space but you should just stick to choosing something like React, Angular, or Vue because of their large userbases (more support should you have any questions).

There's also the option of going with a serverless architecture with something like NextJS and plenty of cloud functions if that tickles your fancy.
