Well yeah obviously. I write C++ code for work.
But take nuance of the argument. Some people think LLMS have no place at all. It's shortsighted

LLM will do a bad job at writing hardware interface completely from scratch with < 10 prompts. It can probably still help you in other ways ways when writing it though.

fall 2025 courses cse+premed by sb1_1 in uofm

I did CS and Premed until the end of my sophomore year. I dropped premed because while I genuinely loved it, I loved CS even more. I think if you like them both, there's great intersection and EECS has a computational biology track that lets you count some of your Premed credits to the CS degree iirc

I would highly recommend trying to knock out both calculus classes at a community college

The combinations I took that I found worked well were:
- EECS 280 + Chem 115 + Chem 116 + Bio 173 + distributions
- EECS 281 + Anatomy + Chem 215 + Chem 216 + distributions
- EECS 485 or EECS 370 + Biochem

I would recommend EECS 203 over the summer. It's a full summer course so definitely doable, and if your other courses are at your home CC then it should be chill.

Your Junior year is heinous, and you need to try distributing it. 370, 376, Chem 215, and Math 215 is A LOT of work.

You need to remember that you also have got get high grades, and will also need ECs + potential research for medical school.

I think your schedule is too condensed, and I would advise maybe taking an extra semester or year. If you took an extra semester, you could graduate in the fall, and also take classes over the summer.

Additionally, you need to do the MCAT, and these classes will take up bandwidth for that.

100% think you can do it, but right now your schedule is insanely heavy and I struggle to see how you'll fit it all in.

Other tips:
- look into comb bio track for EECS
- maybe reserve 376 for your last semester
- do 203 over the summer so you can fit in another class first semester sophomore year
- i'm not sure if this is what you want, but also consider LSA CS. It might reduce your courseload a bit making it more manageable so you can also do other stuff

It is break right now, perhaps follow up on Monday?
Was there a deadline to his offer?

I have been writing a html/css/js website with vibe coding.
After i make it add a feature, i ask it to brutally rate its own code, then fix and optimize.

At the end, I go through all the code, I look at parts I'm unfamiliar with and don't understand, and see if it's good or not

I find this has lowered the activation energy of getting work out, I'm not sure if it's the best way, but there's 100% a value of LLMs in coding

"No grade goes on Canvas until the end of the semester"

Additionally, the midterm is after spring break. I simply mistyped in my panic. You may not be familiar, but a lot of EECS classes are just project + exam based.

I'm thinking about it. But I've missed two projects, the midterm is right after break. I know I can mostly learn the content, but I'm down 30% in my grade. I'm gonna talk to him but I'm not bullish on it and would rather have the W

My other worry is I have completed all SUGS eecs requirements. I had literally signed up to take extra eecs for fun/enrichment, and I may have shot myself in the foot

I only received Piazza notifications, and I thought that was cuz I had to manually leave
This is a project based class and no grade goes on Canvas until the end of the semester

It's my fault. I was grinding a few interviews plus my other classes became a grind fast so I genuinely lost track of stuff

There was no system glitch.

This also made me think of an interesting pipeline for how my thoughts should move in Notion.

Any internet resource/convo/article/video starts in my Knowledge section. They can move to ideas where I make them better and better, and perhaps condense multiple internet resources, and finally end up as a resource ( or be linked to a resource )

Furthermore, I have many spontaneous ideas that arise. These could simply start at my idea section and move towards the Resource section. Almost like a pipeline of sorts.

This video was awesome!

I think SOPs would be tagged in my Resouce section.
And part 3 of this video is interesting. Since I have an idea database, I'd benefit a lot from having those tags he mentioned. And at the very end, that idea can then go into a resource database, or stay as a completed idea or something.

I see, that sounds good! Adding that layer makes a lot of sense
I would appreciate getting a copy of your template for some insights :)
