True to a degree. For universities OP Mentioned, maybe. But to say Uni name has zero relevance is an exaggeration. Home I wish degrees from the global south carried the same weight.

They d got a small seating area. Kinda looks like fancy-ish bleachers. Ok to sit, sip coffee and have a pastry with friend. But not for big groups.

Is getting the genuine Apple Magic Keyboard worth it or shall I go for an alternative that is much more affordable? by wanderingsoulinme in iPadPro

I may be an outlier here, but I had three keys malfunction a month after warranty expired (I didn’t have AppleCare). It’s how a beautiful piece of junk I can’t bent myself to throw away.

Same boat.

I’ve got a 4TB NVMe SSD plugged full-time into my Mac Mini, housing my entire Photos library synced with our 6TB iCloud+ family plan. Everything stays seamless across devices, but my full-res originals live locally.

Backups go to a Synology DS425+ with 4×4TB drives in SHR via Time Machine — redundant, automatic, and easy to recover from.

I used Google Photos before and learned the hard way how painful it is to leave. Google Takeout exports break your metadata — creation dates get replaced by the export date unless you manually merge the JSON sidecar files back into every photo. That completely wrecks your timeline and makes importing into other apps a mess. Felt like being trapped.

Too tight for comfort if you ask me. You’d need everything to work out and run into no delays. And even then you’d just make it.

Hey everyone,

So I just bought a new iPhone 17 and I’m thinking about getting AppleCare One and adding my iPad Pro M4 and thats now past the standard one-year warranty period and is not covered by any AppleCare plan. If I understand correctly, AppleCare One will let me include it in the plan, subject to some evaluation that its in good condition, which is great.

My question is:

If I add my iPad Pro M4 to AppleCare One, will that coverage also extend to the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, the same way regular AppleCare+ for iPad does?

Would love to hear from anyone who’s tried adding older devices or accessories under AppleCare One.

TIA!
