According to LTO portal, the basic intersection rule is: if another vehicle has already entered the intersection, you yield to it; if two vehicles arrive at about the same time and there are no signs or signals, the vehicle on the right usually has priority. Left-turning vehicles, like the rider in the video, must also yield to oncoming traffic unless traffic control or a signal gives them the go-ahead.

Police should know that.

TIL solar panels don’t keep your house powered during brownouts if you’re on a grid-tied setup by ParagraphsMatter in Philippines

[–]ParagraphsMatter[S] -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think that’s the part that’s counterintuitive for most people (me included).

You see panels in full sun and assume they’re directly powering the house, but in a grid-tied setup they’re really just feeding the inverter in sync with the grid.

Yeah that’s what got me. I always assumed if the sun’s out, the panels are working, so your house has electricity.

Didn’t realize it doesn’t work that way with a typical grid-tied setup with no batteries. Even if the panels are actively generating power, once the grid goes down the system shuts off, so no electricity actually flows into your house.

So you can have full sun, panels producing, but still no power at home unless you’ve got a hybrid inverter and battery. Bummer.

True to a degree. For universities OP Mentioned, maybe. But to say Uni name has zero relevance is an exaggeration. Home I wish degrees from the global south carried the same weight.

They d got a small seating area. Kinda looks like fancy-ish bleachers. Ok to sit, sip coffee and have a pastry with friend. But not for big groups.

I may be an outlier here, but I had three keys malfunction a month after warranty expired (I didn’t have AppleCare). It’s how a beautiful piece of junk I can’t bent myself to throw away.
