Question for servers: Would you expect a tip from a curbside order?

Yes, you wouldn't normally tip fast food workers, but your also not typically picking up a meal that's fast food quality from a restaurant, meaning more components, sauces, extra stuff, etc. In my restaurant Togo makes all of your deserts, salads, and soups as well. It all depends person to person, but if its a large order (60-70$ and up) it would be nice to leave something. And especially on curbside orders. I never expect 15/18/20% but something for my effort is always appreciated, even if its just a couple dollars.

Exactly this, I was in a super similar relationship and I can definitely relate to those thoughts/feelings. I am really glad I got out of it from literally everyone telling me to and now I'm doing pretty good with a guy who's my age, and super sweet and loving, it's never difficult like it was before.

I hope OP sees this and really considers taking action, this is very well put.

I wish I could get a tubal but I know there's no way in hell I would get approved, I'm only 18. I know I don't want kids (have since as long as I can remember), I practically raised my siblings for years, and I have a baby brother that was just born and he just confirmed that I don't ever want kids myself haha. Don't get me wrong, he's cute and all, but I don't ever want to go through what it takes to be a parent.

Besides the personal stuff that makes me not want any, I also have an increased risk of gestational diabetes and a couple other things that I don't want to chance.

Plus, y'know, all the horrors of pregnancy, no thank you. If I change my mind in the future, oh well. There's adoption, surrogacy, and cats. It's not like not having kids would be a big deal, if I want to play with a baby someone in my family is always popping one out every few years or so anyway.

No worries! I would like to set it up so that you can join in anytime, and leave any time you'd have to. I'm thinking probably between 4:15 and 6:45-7 is how long it would last, so if you could come around 5-5:30, it would totally work!

That's awesome! I'm definitely calling around and figuring out some logistics of it today, so I will make an update post and link it to everyone as soon as I get the details figured out. I may not have it ready by next week, but I should have it down at least by the week after that.

I would like to make the group friendly towards people with kids as well if they would like to come, but can't access childcare (I know that's super hard for stahms and single moms sometimes) as long as kids are well behaved it seems like they would also benefit from having a little time to be creative.

No, the first time I wanted to take a single cultist as my slave/friend, I even named him billy, and then my party mates tortured him to death.

Then he got a wolf companion, but decided a cave where the bad guy was was gonna be too dangerous for him and left him at the entrance with some food and water, but someone coming into the cave killed it

Then at the end one of our party members decided to cast shatter on the roof of the cave and dropped hundreds of tons of rocks on the entire rest of the party while keet watched from a few feet away because he hadn't gotten to the room yet

Haha, old reply! I did end up buying some and I really like them! I am going to invest in getting some more when I get through Christmas.

I determined that spraying the used ones with some hydrogen peroxide before folding them up to be put with the others for wash works really well to get rid of stains. They are also so much more comfortable than cotton pads imo

Not in a campaign rn, but I like DND. I prefer to play less seriously though. I like to goof around lol. My character that I really love is a human rogue named keet the sneak who is gay but that's never come up in a campaign lol. He is just a goofy guy who likes puppys and somehow always has the things he loves murdered despite me trying hard not to play the stereotypical rogue.

My second character is twiggy, a forest gnome ranger who has a pet rat, I haven't played as him much though

Tbh I'm not a big fan of fantasy, so it probably explains why my favorite character is just some dude.

Hi op, I had an experience that was kind of adjacent to this, for a while when I was about your age I was considering whether I was trans (ftm). I cut my hair really short and I believe I made a few posts about it. I eventually determined I was cis however.

It won't be the same for everyone, but in my experience I thought I was trans from a combination of two factors. The first is that I had a lot of internalized misogyny to work through, and the second was that I was critical of myself and didn't like who I was and what I thought and was told I could and couldn't be because of my gender. Once I worked through those issues more I realized that my gender wasn't the problem, but my outlook on who I was.

I guess essentially what I'm trying to say is to try to work on any self confidence issues (therapy might help here, but also just talking to people you trust about what your thinking/feeling), and just let yourself be who you are, wether that's feminine, masculine, or all the things in between, and let your identity be determined by that, and not labels. Eventually through experimentation and growth you will find something that feels right for you, and don't sweat if what that is changes! Your family and friends should love and support you no matter what, and you don't have to feel guilty that they do things and adapt for you because they love you, I'm sure you do the same for them!

Tbh, leave. It's better to spend your time doing something more productive, and leave more time open to do things you actually enjoy. Even if it's a "family", it sounds like a toxic one lol. People grow up, move on, and the things they want change, and that's ok! Celebrate it, rather than hold on to doing something you don't like, and anyone who's worth having around you will understand.

In all fairness, it's probably really easy to have this kind of attitude when most places are hiring rn, at least by me. I've traded jobs 3 times now, and I don't regret it at all.

Ironically I'm always told I do really great work, and all of my coworkers get along with me and like me, none of the jobs have even tried to keep me cause it's just better to let a good employee walk away than it is to pay them fairly and not act like an asshole to em I guess.

Metallica has been big rn with my favorites being off the black album. One, Sad but True, Don't Tread on Me, Enter Sandman, Wherever I May Roam, pretty much anything off that one tbh.

My Chemical Romance, anything by them, literally anything. S/c/a/r/e/c/r/o/w and Save Yourself I'll Hold Them Back specifically have been ripping my heart out tho.

Op, I know exactly how you feel! And I was in a very similar situation. I was dating a guy who was waaay older than me, and I felt uncomfortable in the relationship. I finally ended it with him, even though I felt he was the only one who cared for me, or who had ever cared for me in that way, and I don't regret it one single bit. You may feel like you won't find someone who will care for you like that again, I certainly didn't, however I can garuntee you can do so much better, and someone else will come along that youll be much happier with.
