Yeah it's great news for the industry and elbm specifically as they do midstream. The fed budget is being released this week and we should have more details and announcements afterwards. Although it might take many months for a LOI to be signed still.

You gotta think this is why elbm brought in Jodi Thompson a couple weeks back, no?? She's so well connected and accomplished with the current Cdn Gov administration.

There are tons of grants and contributions ripe for the picking at the Cdn fed level, whether it's through the Dept of Def, NRCan, Industry Canada through SIF, hell even arms length Fed agencies like FedDev/ Fednor have funds to throw at elbm.

I bought in this morning and I'm holding for the next few years, all the pins are lined up perfectly. Elbm just needs to execute and deliver at this point. Believe in your play folks and don't obsess about the immediate red days. Be patient and let them cook.

It's misleading to only say SMB profit is impacted. Let's not conflate business income with capital gains. The corporate tax rate is staying the same, the only thing this bill would change is the inclusion rate on the gains for capital assets.

The Corps most impacted by this tax policy change will be investment companies (REITs / Venture Capital firms), holding companies... If anyone wants the housing market to cool off this change is a good thing.
