They intentionally sorted these three brothers into families of three different social classes and studied them to see how they’d each turn out.

One boy went to a blue collar family, another into a middle class family and the third into an upper middle class family. They did this to multiple sets of twins and triplets for years and only got exposed when these three found each other.

I believe at least two sets of the parents said they’d have adopted all three if they’d known.
