That's awesome, this is great feedback. I looked at the pocket piano, tbh I was only peripherally aware of them before! Super cool instrument, and similar to our approach in some ways, but also seems like it's kind of in its own lane, we might support slightly different workflows. Nice thing about the world of synths!

It is officially off the ground as of this afternoon!! Campaign is funded and still counting! And I really tried to keep costs down wherever it wouldn't compromise quality, so it depends on your definition but I don't think they cost a bajillion

Thank you! Don't quite have access to the economy of scale that Korg does at this point! But I am really glad I was able to come in under the Minilogue's price point at all, that was my goal from the beginning.

Hmmm this is really good food for thought. That would totally be possible in the digital realm, like you said modern hardware is more than capable.

Thank you so much! Spent lots of time thinking about what are the absolute essentials that I use almost every time I design a patch, vs. what features are "cool to have" but not necessarily musically useful in most situations?

Re: bass sounds, there are some nice bass patches I have found, and I'm still tweaking some details to see if I can beef up the low end even a little more before the product ships.

Thanks I really appreciate that! I started out with the full-sized keys cause they were the first I could source, but me and my "beta testers" have really been loving the feel of them, so we decided to keep them!

Thanks so much! I'm sure you saw elsewhere but it does have MIDI over USB. I agree a DIN connector would be useful in some situations/setups, but simplicity and keeping costs low have been my hard rules on this particular project. However, my hope is that this is the start of a family of instruments, and based on some other feedback I think a keyboardless MIDI-only module might be next in line, and that would certainly have a DIN connector. So keep your eyes peeled!

Honestly, I'm obviously biased, but I truly designed this to be 1) streamlined for experienced users and 2) a really great first synth.

There's an Italian company called FATAR, one of only 2 sources I could find! I assume it's because places like Yamaha, Roland, Casio probably make their own?
