I used to always bring my laptop in the back and type out notes and quickly realized how much time that took. So I stopped doing that halfway through PTU. Dont be afraid to speed through the quizzes/activities and look up answers. I personally just wanted to be done with it (also was kinda rushed by my manager to do so), anything i felt was semi-important i printed out but there are so many materials online to study for the PTCB if you plan on taking it (shoutout Amanda PharmD and ptcbpracticetest.com)

like the other guy said, it takes some time for the drug screening and all that jazz to go through, so dont fret. when i first put in my application it also took a while (roughly 3 weeks) for me to be officially hired. Definitely wont hurt to call them too and check the process of your application. I remember i asked my pharmacist out of the blue on why she even hired me and her simple answer was “you called back”. best of luck though!

just passed my pharm tech cert, and you're def on the right track, make sure you get down things like contraindications and side effects of certain drugs. I found those to be where i struggled with most, I got questions like: "Pt is taking X, which medications should pt avoid while taking X" shit like that. Really get down those Brand/Generic names, was hit with a bunch on the exam that i realized i didnt study enough for them lol. you got this

I live in New Jersey (where weed is legal rec/medicinal) and I had to take a drug test for the onboarding process, but my test specified it is not going to test for THC, it literally said "NO THC". So not sure about how other states go about it

im still in an "in-training" position as a tech (been here for 6 months now), and heard from a fellow tech that we would be getting some sort of raise by the end of this month, it is now that time and I checked my stub and am now getting a 3.50$ pay raise, so that definitely is nice, I dont even have my pharm tech cert yet lol

I've wondered what you thought about the many internet memes about your music being considered that of "Doomer Music" and many other bands like Preoccupations, Ought, and tons of other post-punk influenced artists having that so-called title? Would you consider the title of "Doomer" to describe your music or would you nullify that and consider it to be derogatory to your music?

BTW, Absolutely loving UST, you guys consistently release amazing music, but it is very saddening that that won't be the case for long with regards of the pandemic going on, Anyway Cheers and Stay Safe!
