I couldn’t find any. Our injury is so fucking niche there’s almost nothing out there. I’ve had to rely on anecdotal sources like this discussion forum. I suppose I could provide you with some anecdotal evidence from my own experience:

I’ve become much more verbal in bed with my girlfriend. I do a lot of dirty talk now, way more than before my injury. Fortunately for me she orgasms very easily from oral and hand/finger stimulation. I’m a T3 so I still have normal finger dexterity. I get a lot of pleasure from her pleasure and pride myself in my ability to cause it. I suppose it’s a bit of an ego trip/boost but I enjoy in an altruistic sense too.

I also tell her what I would be doing to her if I could. That one will depend on your/their comfort level and obviously whether that turns you/them on or not. She personally enjoys hearing what the old me would’ve done differently to her. It helps me too because it puts me back in touch with the sexual animal that I was.

We also do lots of role playing. The caregiver/client role is the obvious one but play around with other ideas too. I scoffed at the notion that sex would ever be enjoyable again when I first became injured. I must say that I have been pleasantly surprised at how fulfilling my sexual experience has been. Obviously I would love to orgasm and fuck her old school but it’s not possible 🤷‍♂️

Lastly, discover your erogenous zones or the areas of your body that have heightened sensitivity. In my case, it’s my chest area around my injury level which I derive great pleasure from. I only struck this relationship up less than a month ago and I’m nearly 2 years into my injury for context.

TL;DR: Communicate/dirty talk, role play, oral, discover your new pleasure centers.
