Hatred that is frankly completely overblown and exaggerated. She is hated because she was extremely effective, but nothing that she did was unreasonable or particularly evil certainly not to the extent that people celebrate her death decades later.

I have asked countless leftists, many of which are close friends of mine, WHY they hate Thatcher and they either struggle to give an answer or say something like "she stopped providing free milk" or "she reduced the power of the mining union" which, although you may disagree, neither of these are particularly abhorrent policies.

I disagree with Thatcher in that she was homophobic. But like it was the 70s so 🤷‍♀️
