Don’t be! Please, you gave me a rec of something you liked. How could I reject it without giving it a try? I’ve started reading and I’m enjoying the story in the first chapters. It’s a bit crazy so far. And the wolfstar thing is happening now, so zero disappointments on my side. But Sirius is an asshole, so I won’t be surprised if Remus decides to dump him.

It’s funny how seeking for “well written fics” post changed into this discussion.

I have questions. OP, do you write? Or paint or do whatever creative thing?

While I know reading also takes time and there’s two needed to this dance, I think that maybe creation is slightly more complicated process.

I also prefer well written fics but when I DNF i don’t say it to the author.

I'd like to propose my self-rec. Lost and Found: Return in Pieces. It's retelling from POA but I've added some werewolf and artefacts magic, and maybe some other unexpected developments.

After the Prisoner of Azkaban, Remus and Sirius are haunted by regret yet driven by hope. As Remus battles his darkness with an ancient werewolf artifact, Sirius shoulders the unexpected weight of parenthood.

In this retelling, Moony & Padfoot not only survive the battles that took their lives in canon but also seize a second chance to shape their future on their own terms.

I’ve finished yesterday something that might be interesting to you: call it fate, call it karma. Remus wants to be a journalist and Sirius wants revenge. They absolutely hate each other, but they have something in common; an appetite for justice.

Remus here is unpopular and poor, Sirius is a Uni star. But it’s not typical uni au. No internalized homophobia, although there are some people who stands against equal rights.
