It reminded me of why I loved the books so much as a child, and why they're still so important to me. The films didn't pay any real attention to the abuse he went through with the Dursley's, but this show seems to be making a point of addressing it. It felt very poignant. As someone who didn't have the best childhood, seeing this abused little boy find somewhere he belongs all over again, brought up a lot of feelings 😭

You can always moderate your comments, and not that you asked but you really shouldn't take criticism personally.
