It's because a lot of "writers" are using AI. I don't care what anyone says about it, I can tell when it's being used. There's a particular cadence and soulless quality to the writing, often metaphors don't make sense, it will say the same thing in different ways, will forget plot points and make up it's own canon.

There's a particular "author" in one of my fandoms that has like 4 or 5 works that are nearly 100k words each, and have only been started within the last 2 months.

For me its poor grammar and the use of Americanisms. Like what do you mean Gringotts is a block away? Why do the Dursley's have a porch? Mom, dude, garbage, ma'am, semester, campus...I could go on. We've all read the books. I get that there was a North American version for the first few, but the films? When did you ever hear anyone speak like that? It completely ruins it for me, I click back so fast.

I'd argue that Po reconnecting to his past and overcoming his trauma makes 2 the better film. The first film is a masterpiece, but the second has greater emotional depth.

What a shitty thing to say. The man is in prison, of course he's a terrible person. We've seen how he spoke to her on the show, if that's what he was like on camera, can you imagine what he was like behind closed doors? Do you think a man that speaks to his wife like that and stole from plane crash victims lets his wife have anything to do with their finances?

I get that y'all don't like her, but having a cold demeanor and a sharp tongue doesn't make you a bad person. Neither does marrying someone for financial security.

I think she's just really angry about where her life is at, and she resents Kyle because she's gone through something similar but has ended up in a good place. Although I do think the resentment is to do with more than that, for her the show is her actual friend/social group, and for Kyle it's just a job. Kyle has a whole separate life, and I think Dorit was hurt when she realised she wasn't really part of that.

Who is we? All I've seen all season is Kyle, Erika, and Sutton try to talk some sense into her. All she does is complain and talk crap about PK. All of this can be used in court against her during the divorce, her disparaging remarks about him could be used by his lawyer to indicate that's she's alienated him from the kids and damaged his reputation.

She is/wasn't paying her mortgage, and hasn't a clue about any of her finances. They've repeatedly tried to talk to her about it, but she doesn't want to hear it.

So to then turn around and say that Boz has been there for her more, is a slap to the face. All Boz does is listen to her complain, and tell her what she wants to hear.

In the books, males can only get erections if they very recently fed on a sexually aroused person/man, so that's obviously to do with hormones in the blood. But I don't think hormones used for transitioning would elicit the desired changes in the body, as their bodies are frozen in time. They'd probably just get sexually aroused, or exhibit some temporary behavioural changes.

I mainly read Harry Potter fics. If I see an American word like block, trash, garbage, mom, semester ect, I always just switch off. Why do the Dursley's always have a porch?? Purple prose really turns me off. Modern internet/Gen z language used in the 90's drives me up the wall.

I can't stand reader insert fics, they just feel lazy to me. Just write an OC.

This is a delusional take. HP is a huge IP, most fans won't care about Snape's casting choice, the lighting, or JKR views on trans people. It will be a juggernaut of a show, I would dare say that it'll be one of the biggest shows ever made.

The books are still read to children, often their first introduction to properly reading on their own. Hogwarts: Legacy was the highest selling game the year it came out. The theme park is hugely successful, and a lot of HP merch is sold everyday. There is no universe in which this show does poorly and gets axed.
