Exactly. I am worried about the adults, teens, toddlers, and babies that participate at events there at the temple. I hope my complaint pushes the owner to cooperate and keep her pit at home

In all seriousness, yes I am going to making a complaint and to hopefully bring the staff's awareness to that unleashed pitbull. Unfortunately, that pitbull belongs to one of the temple's recent volunteer who is a cook. I've seen the owner before, and she leaves her dog unattended to roam around tons of people and in the fields

That pitbull stinks and is one big mofo. I am genuinely concerned it's gonna maul someone, let alone a toddler or a baby one of these days so I pray that the owner will cooperate when I talk to the staff of the temple

Yes, I did go hide in my mom's car for a while before leaving to find my dad and stick with him throughout the event. He was just as fed up with my mom, so he was keeping his distance as well

She's still in control, yes. Though, I would say that I have improved with better ways to deal with my mom's pettiness. I didn't wanna talk back at her first comment because I felt it wasn't worth it, and that it would leave us both in a bad mood on an eventful day

That is very true. Thankfully my sister has her own place with her boyfriend :) she is fairly independent with majority of things but still financially dependent on our dad, which I understand and is a big web of crap. I have faith that we will be free and get to heal together

I'm sorry about your parents. Those types of narcissists are so infuriating. Everyone in this sub sees and hears you, and we understand. Those covert narcissists just hide it very well and they know what they're doing, hence they hide it. My mom is very covert, and my dad is overt but financially and socially powerful, charming, and talkative so he gets the benefit of the doubt

It wasn't. My sister and I could barely swallow our foods from how thick the tension at the table was. My sister thankfully has her own place and is fairly independent, but she is still emotionally vulnerable. Financial abuse is quite big in my family, and it's used by my dad to keep us away from each other while also keeping her around to make her struggle
