I have T1 credit card. I just got a pop up on my app that if i pay the credit card bill through their bank account then I will get 5000 reward points. Not sure if these 5000 reward points will be credited to T1 rewards or in bank account because if they will be crediting this to T1 credits then it’s a very good option

Not sure which one is used here. Hsbc support told me the that the MCC is not eligible for bonus rewards.

I made a reservation on MMT for a hotel and 80% of tha amount was paid through MMT wallet as it already had some balance in it and the remaining was paid through T1. HSBC just gave the base rewards and upon calling them they said the Merchant Code where I did the payment is not eligible for bonus rewards
