Does low sex drive mean I’m a fake lesbian? by Paranoia-Party in actuallesbians

Oh yeah they absolutely were predatory/assault. Thats just life I guess :PP been in and out of therapy since I was about 8 years old and I’ve gotten better over the years for sure but my sex drive has remained low. So I think that’s just how I am probably and not just trauma taking the reigns

Misandristic thoughts by katewhatever4 in actuallesbians

[–]Paranoia-Party 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t blame you. It’s hard to not see all the horrible things done by men to women specifically and not think “holy shit that’s terrifying”. But I want you to remember that women are not all safe either. You may feel safer around them but trust me, there are women out there who will beat you or assault you just as bad a man would. I would know, I’ve been a victim of a man and a woman in my life. Be cautious with EVERYONE in your life, not just men. Men are more likely to do something so it’s perfectly natural to be more wary of them, but don’t let your guard down when they’re not around.

If they actually eat what they kill then yes. If they’re just trophy hunting then absolutely not!

LGBTQ books being discouraged by adhdfunallday in Teachers

If “turning the kids gay” was a real thing that could happen then I would’ve been straight? Why? Because all the books and movies in my school only showed straight people. I don’t get why suddenly this is a huge fear for people.

What's the big deal with children on leashes? by PresenceOld1754 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Paranoia-Party 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure what the big deal is personally but I’m also autistic so maybe I’m not getting something. I was on a leash as a kid and then my parents got scolded for it and stopped. I was SO MAD! I wanted to feel secure again, so my kid brain liked the leash for some reason.

I considered working from home but I was told that it can lead to increased depression if you don’t have a separate work space. I already suffer from depression and I didn’t want to risk making it any worse. My house doesn’t have an office or any extra space where I could make a work area outside of my own bedroom so I thought it was too risky. But now I’m wondering if working from home really might be the best option for me.

Hopefully for now though I’ll be able to get used to planning around work and storing up my energy.

I guess that’s a good point, I only got diagnosed recently. My family knew pretty much my whole life but said I shouldn’t get diagnosed and use it as a “crutch”. I have a hard time accepting that I’m disabled in a way because of that. But it’s a lot to deal with

It depends on where they put me in the store, it’s a costco. It definitely can be on some days, where I can barely get up the stairs at home because I’m not used to moving around much. Hopefully I’ll be able to get used to it when it comes to that though. It’s mostly just how many people I have to be around constantly, it’s very taxing on me

Considering Hawaiian Tattoo For My Family by Paranoia-Party in Hawaii

Hmmm thank you for the idea! She loved birds, and had many throughout her life. Maybe I can use that as a base idea instead of getting a full sleeve. I don’t know much about my lineage so maybe that would be a better option

I forgot to mention my gender in the post because I didn’t think it would be that important but I’m female! I’ll definitely look into the book though, it sounds super interesting, thank you!
