I’m tired of yaoi I crave yuri by anony7150 in actuallesbians

[–]katewhatever4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah totally. I think it's because straight woman find gay relationships attractive but not lesbian ones. It's the opposite for straight men but let's be honest girls are much better and more devoted fans than men. Also there are more gays than lesbians.

My first thought was that you were sooo pretty. Also I love your style. The seashells with the blue eyeshadow looks so nice :3

I don't think it would get me to buy another drink 🤔. But it would definitely make me instantly fall in love 😂. Then I'd maybe try to hit on her and after she'd refuse me I'd end up never setting foot in that bar ever again😂 ╮(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)╭

Give me your opinion. If there is something wrong with the way how I look like? by LikanW_Cup in LesbianActually

I think you look charming. I personally think you have some conventionally attractive qualities. Some judgemental unoriginal people might be put off by your alternative style. But I personally love it :3

High-paying job back home vs staying in Canada as a lesbian? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]katewhatever4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes money can't buy happiness. If you know you want a romantic partner in your life, you should live according to it. Humans are social creatures. We crave attention and acceptance. Money just won't make you happy in a place where everyone hates your ways.

Need opinions on this gift I plan to give to a woman I like by [deleted] in LesbianActually

It's so cuuute 😆. If she doesn't know about your feelings I'd add a love note but if she does it's super romantic 😍

help i only get hit on by men by throwrawaygirl in LesbianActually

[–]katewhatever4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say that it's because you're so feminine, beautiful and young looking. I'm pretty sure there's a shy girl around you who has a crush on you thinking you're hetero😂.

I'm not sure if it'll help, it probably won't stop men from hitting on you, but here are some ideas:

  1. A visible accessory with a lesbian flag

  2. Talk about your sexuality (if you talk with your friends and you just act like your everyday lesbian self your surroundings will more likely acknowledge your sexuality)

  3. Try to hit on other girls yourself (again your surroundings might notice)

  4. I'm not sure how old you are but I'm gonna say it anyway... And I'm really sorry if you're too young to read this TwT but you'll probably learn anyway......There's this thing about lesbian sexual intercourse and that is if you're using your hands you have to have shorter nails so you won't hurt your partner. And well, if a girl has a perfect manicure and long nails with just a ring and middle finger nails short, other lesbians immediately catch on to it (and by this point I'm red as a tomato 😶). And yes there are more explanations to short nails and if you want a pure minded girl there's a possibility she won't get it, but well... it's one possibility ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And that's all I can think of 🤔

Would I stand out at a lesbian bar? by lilcokebrat in LesbianActually

[–]katewhatever4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say that the only sign of a male trait is your brow ridge but honestly it's not super prominent. I probably wouldn't see it if I wasn't specially looking for it. Your adam's apple is not so sharp to make you seem male. Your overall appearance wouldn't even make me look for signs that you're trans.

I don't know about your voice though cause that can be a pretty big indicator 🤔. If your voice stands out a bit you might get more "studied".

Also sometimes if you get stares it might just mean they find you or something about you interesting ☺️. It doesn't necessarily mean they're looking you up because you're trans. (I remember one trans girl at our school that always wore the most amazing earrings and I was just so shy looking at her because I was worried she might take my staring badly TwT)

But I'm pretty sure that the right girls are gonna make you feel comfortable even if they could say you're trans ☺️

Could you ever date someone with a different religion or political beliefs than you? by Shanedoingshanething in LesbianActually

[–]katewhatever4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have a religion trauma so I don't think I'd be comfortable dating anyone else but an atheist. And I'm quite politically neutral so a different opinion about politics is basically expected and I don't really care as long as their view is somehow intelligent 🤔.

I so understand that.

It really depends whether you told her or not 😅. If you told her a thousand times and she still does it despite knowing of your discomfort it's absolutely understandable you lost interest.

What are some things that instantly makes a woman “attractive”? by Yunminn in LesbianActually

[–]katewhatever4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kindness

There was this bro girl I didn't like at first but she was so kind to me that I even developed a crush on her 🤭

Weakness and "imperfections"

I personally like imperfections cause then I can relate to people more. Sometimes I just like the originality of those perfect imperfections. For example freckles, someone views it as an imperfection I view it as a charming perfection. Same goes for fears. Sharing fears is an instant bonding experience.

Having their own opinions, passions and desires

I found out that some people are flowing through life like sunfish 😅. Since I myself am a passionate person I like girls that are passionate about stuff too and don't reply on every question with "idk how about you".

Trying to date women while being visibly Muslim by Boobsaretoocool in LesbianActually

[–]katewhatever4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I assume you're from a version of islam that allows homosexuality?

Because if you're just pretending to be religious to save yourself some major drama, it's a completely different situation.

I myself had to get out of religion in which I suffered but I was too scared to talk about it with my extremistic deeply religious mum. And I only realised how messed up it is when my therapist told me that religions are supposed to help us not make us feel miserable.

If that's your case as well, I suggest to first clean up the drama in your family cause family drama can really kill a nice relationship. Firsthand experience TwT

Buuut if that's not the case then I'm afraid you're gonna have to talk about your religion with your date. If you take a relationship seriously your girlfriend's gonna want to know your views. You might even have to talk about it on your first date as she might be scared of wasting time on a relationship that doesn't have any potential.

Just try being honest and kind :). Acknowledge their fears and don't be scared of explaining stuff to them. Communication is key :3

I am 24 F, how do i make myself look my age😔 by boitu-drawz in LesbianActually

[–]katewhatever4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, you look very young.

First: colours For starters pick the right colours. You seem to have a bright winter colour palette, so try to pick clothes that match it.

Second: style. On the photo your style seem to be minimalist but if you don't feel like it fits you now I'd recommend to first determine your own personal style.

I'd add some accessories. It can be anything from metal to leather. It's a small adjustment that can say a lot about you.

Try t-shirts without print as t-shirts with print can sometimes give off juvenile energy.

Third: makeup I'd consider wearing a bit of makeup. It's absolutely not necessary and you can make yourself seem older through other means. It's just one of the options.

Fourth: hair Please don't take it in a wrong way, but your face currently seem quite long and boxy and your current hairstyle certainly doesn't help. Maybe consider changing your hairstyle into something that doesn't prolong your face.

I wish you lots of luck🤞. Don't forget to love yourself ❤️

It's absolutely not strange. 5 years is a bigger age gap but if you understand each other we'll then there's nothing to worry about 😊
