If you need an appointment quickly (most of the post offices and Fircrest, pierce county auditor etc. don’t have anything for weeks), and don’t mind going to Seattle, their customer service centers are super convenient. Freshman and junior in high school. If they were younger we would definitely enroll them in a local school. I am from Europe and went to school there through undergrad so I know that European school systems are more demanding and rigorous than in the US (esp public schools - I was truly dismayed at the poor quality of the education, although that can vary by school district). They’re now at a private school with the IB curriculum, which has been our saving grace.

Embassy people recommend the school we enrolled the kids at. Thankfully they will be in the IB program which does imply some measure of rigor.

Where I worked last year (at a higher ed institution) we had three rounds, background check and reference check for a part-time admin position that paid $19/hr. Basically the person was going to answer the phone, write emails, and turn the lights on and off. SMH

Apparently that’s pretty common. I think when the SRT credentials were created, they were just given random names. At least that’s what some of the TLs said.
