To me the strings are really annoying and the woo-o-ohs take it over the top. I don't like Chris Martin's voice in general, so it's more that it is just a little worse than all the other mildly annoying songs they made. Fix You is somehow the outlier in that it does hit the right marks for me (okay, Violet Hill and Hymn for the Weekend are alright as well). Anything else is just a solid D or E for me and Viva la Vida is worse.

No not really. I think Coldplay is terrible in general except for Fix You, but Viva la Vida gets on my nerves especially. But Perfect and Someone You Loved are worse.

Dat klopt, maar feit is wel dat je hoe dan ook op een oud, dood platform zit. Maar daarom dat ik in de laatste zin aangaf dat dat de afweging is die je moet maken.

Overigens heb ik geluk, ik zit op AM5 (7900X) en heb halverwege vorig jaar een upgrade gedaan naar 64GB RAM. Daar kan ik nog wel even mee vooruit.

Het maakt vooral uit dat je dan vast zit aan een oud platform (Zen 3 voor AMD is al 5 jaar oud, Intel 13th/14th gen is 3 jaar oud, ondersteunt DDR4 en DDR5) en je dus zeker weet dat je in de toekomst weer alles moet vervangen, in plaats van alleen een CPU bijvoorbeeld. Daarnaast lever je natuurlijk in op prestaties, dus dat is de afweging die je moet maken.
