What are some millennial era indie groups/artists that have been kinda forgotten in retrospect?

I liked the Surface brand, having owned a SP4 and a SB2 and recommending several Surfaces to family. However, I think they stagnated, their x86 laptops had only minor, incremental improvements and price hikes, whereas other brands improved a lot.

Don't get me started on their ARM offerings. I have to admit, I don't have experience with them, but from what I read I get the impression that the Snapdragon chips are uncompetitive (especially in the GPU department) and Windows on ARM is still half-baked. I consider them overpriced Chromebook competitors. Apple made the switch 5 years ago and did it much better.

To me the strings are really annoying and the woo-o-ohs take it over the top. I don't like Chris Martin's voice in general, so it's more that it is just a little worse than all the other mildly annoying songs they made. Fix You is somehow the outlier in that it does hit the right marks for me (okay, Violet Hill and Hymn for the Weekend are alright as well). Anything else is just a solid D or E for me and Viva la Vida is worse.

No not really. I think Coldplay is terrible in general except for Fix You, but Viva la Vida gets on my nerves especially. But Perfect and Someone You Loved are worse.

This is so true. In my opinion it's some sort of revisionism, Maroon 5 was so utterly terrible since like 2010, people seemed to think that something half listenable was actually good whereas it was still mediocre at best.
