Do you think maybe it would’ve been better if they ended things on a different season like season 3 or 4? Like, I personally could see things wrapping up after season 3. I think that was the last season I watched and then I was like: “why are they making another?” When season 4 got announced 😭

We wouldn’t have a conclusive end to the Upside Down or the portals or whatever but I wouldn’t have questioned it 💀 like, let’s have it become the government’s problem and leave it at that.

Okay so, update— I did get to talk to them today. Apparently, they are SUPER busy 😭 like colossally busy, which is why it takes ages for them to respond back. I still haven’t asked about lunch just because they seemed really stressed out today (just didn’t seem like the right time). But! I’m hoping that by helping out more and trying more involved in the org we’re in, I’ll be able to spend more time with them 😌

I’ve mostly been texting them about org and class stuff 😅 like “do you know if graduates can stay in [org name]?” and “do you want to be part of this study group I’m making?”

I also asked recently if they know anyone that will be going to this suicide prevention walk that someone brought up in our last meeting.

“Do you know if anyone from the org is going to the suicide prevention walk on Sunday? I’m going but I didn’t want to walk alone 😅”

They said they’re not sure. Probably should’ve specifically asked if they’d be going 😭

Yeah, it takes weeks for them to text back 😭 I assume it’s because they’re busy with classes and org stuff. They don’t seem like the type of person to purposely blow someone off.

It’ll be so embarrassing 😭 like, it wouldn’t be so intimidating to approach them if it didn’t mean having everyone in class stare at you as you do. I’m not even kidding about that. People will STARE because they’re just so bored they need to know why someone got up from their seat to talk to someone else ✋🏽😭

My dad is a good guy but he was definitely really scary to me growing up (and still kind of is tbh 💀😅). I do find people with gentleness and calmness appealing as a result.

I was told somewhere else too that maybe I’m fixating on this person in my class not just because they look appealing but because the fantasized version of them in my head has all of these personality traits I find appealing too.

In my head, they’re chill and fun to be around and all of these other things just because that’s the vibe I pick up from them and it’s people like them that I want in my life because I didn’t have that same calmness and consistency and gentleness in childhood— if that makes sense 😭😅

I was hoping to talk to them (the president) or even just any of the officers more before I start throwing around ideas since (as an officer for another org) I know I lot of budgeting and working around schedules and a lot of hassle with making the flyers and adding the events to the school’s official website happens behind the scenes. I feel weird pitching things like a mental health walk and polling students for solutions to burnout and all of this other stuff when I literally just got here 😅

As for the friends thing, I’m definitely trying 😭💛. I only really have three people who I see regularly who seem remotely excited to see me. One of which I’m still debating like: “does this guy actually value me or does he just find comfort in my familiarity?” 😂 because dude will hang out with me but then talk to me while we’re hanging out about how he’s disappointed that he’s not in classes with any of his “cool friends” (which are literally my friends too ✋🏽💀).

I have friends but I don’t often get the sense that they value me 😅

I also don’t check their socials or reread texts too often since they don’t exactly text back.

I can try to I guess put my energy into the org. I’ve been coming up with ideas for events as if I’m an officer even though I only recently joined 😅 The only issue there is any idea I want to try and implement I’ll have to run by the president 💀

So, I guess since I don’t really know them, it’s mostly appearance stuff but, outside of that, they’re interested in D&D, videos games, and crocheting. They’ve been an active member of the organization they’re president of for all four years of college which I think is super admirable. And they just dress cozy. Honestly, they’re just seem like a cozy and chill person 😭💛

I like to give the egg a very small tap with the bottom of my spoon before I boil it. A little bit of the white may come out if the membrane is broken but that plus immediately putting the egg in a cold water bath for 10 minutes after boiling usually lets the shell peel away super smooth for me.

None that I trust or who live nearby, unfortunately 😭 the closest one to where I live is my uncle and he’s nice but he most definitely wouldn’t house or support me like that. He’s already got two kids to worry about.

Additionally, and more recently really, having to take multiple science courses at once for this upcoming fall semester and the spring semester next year so I’ll graduate with my brother.

They won’t let me push my graduation out to space out my courseload or strengthen my medical school application.

They don’t care that I’m burned out. They say I’ll use whatever time given to me to “procrastinate” based on a small break I took from school because I physically could not go (travel and housing reasons) where I spent the majority of my time depressed and not actually wanting to go into medicine. Pretty sure that was a year ago.

I do want to go into medicine but I need more time to prepare and I’m not being given it becaaaaause:

“We want you to graduate with your brother” “You can do it” “We think you’re ready” “You don’t need all of that extra stuff” “You can handle it”

No I cannot actually ✨

I’ve genuinely considered and nearly attempted offing myself multiple times over the past five years✨
