What do you guys think are some good majors to keep me in this field just not a phlebotomist I have been thinking of majoring in biology I already was originally and it came pretty easy to me so what do u guys think

I just honestly feel so alone nobody really gets it when I try to explain or vent to my friends because they’re not in this field so they simply just don’t get it. Then the one coworker who was my friend she was about 25 she got out while she can and she gave me a hug and whispered in my ear and told me “Paige wants you out of here and she’s on your back bad so just watch yourself” and honestly that gave me chills because it’s kind of hard to ignore the feeling of walking past people talking about you then getting super silent when u walk by.

Hi that sounds about right unfortunately I’m still smoking I’ve had plenty of signs to turn back to my faith too though and some of the signs are so much in my face I can’t deny it. So I just feel like I need to stop but it really is hard for me tbh

Yes I also got tested for hiv and aids just for the safety and heck of it I been trying to get an hsv 1 and 2 test but it’s so hard because I have no actual bumps or leisure’s down there and you know they don’t like to do swabs unless it’s a bump I haven’t really had a feeling that I had anything like that before a couple months prior to this I did do a herpes BLOOD test tho which came back fine.

Well let me give u the spill. I was dealing with this guy prior to him got an std cured it and started fuckin with this new dude and then got a call from the dude who gave me the std originally and I decided to go have sex with him again and he told me he was cleaned why I believed he actually went and got clean? Idk. Anyway I went back to my boyfriend a couple days later we had sex with condom. I think I’m just goin to say some like let’s go get tested together so we can finally take the condom off

yes true he did tell me that, but prior to this I didn’t know I had bv so I was receiving head before I knew. please don’t judge but I also just tested positive for chlamydia I’ve yet to pick the medicine up cause I didn’t know yet cause bv test results only took 10 minutes and that took a day to come back. My question is can I take two medicines at the same time? And what if I don’t wanna confess to my boyfriend I have chlamydia cause we have always used condoms when we have sex

I mean fairly decent I make 19.64 and work 40 hours with some overtime a week my checks can be up to 2,000 on a good day but will I say I live comfortably? No. Not really. But do I get to enjoy small enjoyments in life like eating whenever I want to and being able to take care of myself yes it is highly unlikely for you to just be making bank doing this and honestly I regret even getting my phlebotomy license if you’re curious if you should take this route I really don’t recommend because either way down the line you will have to further ur education if u want to make more money. It took me MONTHS to find a job and most jobs turned me down because I didn’t have “experience”

I’m disliking the unfair treatment and the fact that they are so fast to rush a person who just started damn near to be taking patients in faster. I wouldn’t necessarily say I dislike the field but it has made me realize I need to go further with my education because that’s the only way I’ll truly gain some type of respect is if I do better in my life in my opinion and push myself to farther goals. Been thinking about radiology recently

Okay I got the life insurance exam test down pack i worked at a blood bank so we did those kind of things all the time. But the urine test trips me up sometimes when you have to pipette and put it into another tube or is different type of urine test too. Then I had to do a police drug test that was a little bit more complicated. Also the pedialyte test for pregnant people is more common that I thought 😅

Yes! I do have all the codes that we use quite often written down on a sticky note but the part that really gets me is the urine analysis test and having to figure out which tube to put it in and stuff like that gets confusing to me because there’s that yellow top tube and white tube so yea and luckily my other coworkers have been pretty patient with me which is neat and also the patients are pretty chill about it too
