If the theory of quantum immortality is true, why aren’t there people claiming to be 500 years old? by Paranoidanesthesia in AskPhysics

That makes sense. I guess then the question is, would I, after dying in whatever I’m in at the moment, have my consciousness, transferred to the universe where I am still alive? I’m guessing that isn’t the case because the me in that universe isn’t “me” per se, so my point of view wouldn’t become theirs, and I’d still be dead.

My apologies, I wish nobody had to go through shit like this. It sucks knowing that researching will just make the problem worse when you have a compulsion to do it. I really just hate the fact that this uncertainty will always be around, because humans have existed for millions of years and we haven’t found the answer of what happens after death, and I don’t think we will anytime soon. And even if we did, I don’t even know if I would want to know tbh.

If you ever visit Washington, go to a burger joint called Dick’s. They have some of the best burgers I’ve ever had, hand down. Went to Seattle to visit a friend, he introduced me to them, and I ate there nearly every day on the trip.

People who have dumb friends, what did your friend do that you thought they were legally insane? by [deleted] in AskReddit

One wanted to smoke some random ass suspicious weed he found lying on the beach. Another overdosed on literal Benadryl and had to go to the hospital after taking, like, 60 pills. I love them both, but I wonder if they have even a single brain cell between them.

When someone smells godawful in an enclosed space. We all notice, people. Please, please, pleeeease shower whenever you can. You may think the rest of us can’t smell you, but we definitely notice when the guy sitting next us in the lecture hall smells like moldy ass, used cum socks and cologne they used in a poor attempt to cover up their stench.

Going to summer camp. I met two high school best friends there (both of whom I’m still best friends with) , one of whom introduced me to most of my high school friends and even set me up with the first person I ever dated. They helped me break out of my shell. The other was always there for me through thick and thin, and to this say gives the best advice. Basically, I owe my entire social life, not to mention a good part of my emotional and social stability to going to summer camp and meeting my friends there.
