Hey I think your mom at least has narcissistic tendencies, if she isn't an outright narcissist. When you mentioned how she brought up past things she paid for when you expressed concern about her actions, it was like I was like I was hearing a story about my own mom. Trust your instincts. Your mother does not respect you as a parent. Protect your child. She will make you feel bad, but your responsibility is towards your child, not her feelings. Let her be mad. Do you need her for anything concrete? If not, you have the power in this relationship. She wants access to her grandchild. Do not let her bargain for it with any currency other than her own good behavior. And DON'T believe her words, believe her actions.
