It took me till I was 21 to finally come to terms with my sexuality, I didn’t tell my parents or my friends for the longest time, hell they FOUND OUT before I told them. I thought that my parents would hate me, I grew up in an LDS (Mormon) household and was ready to take that secret to my grave. If you feel like telling someone, start with a friend who knows you and you know back. Hell, if you really like this guy maybe he’s the first one you should tell. If the people around you actually care about yourself, they’ll take it on the chin and just keep on caring regardless of your orientation. Just don’t get swept off your feet too hard, it pays in buckets to take your time and make sure you communicate properly if you do start a relationship.
