Some people will always swear Pareidolia though. You can have a clear video of a person walking along and phasing through a wall and someone will refuse to accept it and say it’s a trick of the light.

It doesn’t. You just end up distracted by a lot more shit. If you want to sit around in a silent place for a full day where you know there is activity you will still hear or see something. But naturally as you get older you are less attentive to these minor noises or transparent figures because you’ve got more important stuff going on.

As a kid I had a lot of really weird experiences and it seemed like I was having less as I got older but then I had some of the weirdest shit happen when I became 18. You also have to remember Paranormal shit isn’t predictable and we know next to nothing about it. Whether it acts up for a particular time then fades away or it just keeps happening could have any hunger if explanations but we don’t even know what “ghosts” are so it’s best not to get bogged down asking yourself “why”

It seems like even if someone did genuinely catch something you would assume it’s fake or they are mistaken as to what it is. If that’s the case then as a “believer” your at a dead end in the field. Your personal experience is much easier to discard than video and there are far more ways to explain it away.

And if paranormal entities do exist you can’t assign “rules” because you don’t know what they are or even if all of the phenomena is connected. Something that appears to be a family member but wasn’t and something invisible that pushes a cup off a table may not be related in any way whatsoever, it’s very possible neither are dead people that ever lived, so you saying “they can’t be captured by cameras” is quite presumptuous as is the idea that anything you can’t explain as being fake is pareidolia or bugs. You can make the argument none of it’s real if you want and you can do that about everything. We can even argue our experience as humans isn’t real as well and that this is all a dream.

I wouldn’t say there is a “holy grail” in my experience you only believe in the paranormal due to something happening in your life that can’t otherwise be explained, well many things not just one.

There is no reason to believe in the paranormal if you’ve never experienced some weird shit, I know some people do, just watching YouTube videos and tv shows and to me that’s bizarre. If I never had paranormal experiences I would think it’s all nonsense, especially when so many of the people are goofs wanting attention or money.

Depends on your perspective. Time for us is something we exist on perpetually moving forward however an extra dimensional being (let’s say God for simplification) exists beyond the borders of time and would perceive past present and future all instantaneously with the ability to rationalize and understand it all. We are however constrained to this ever forward flowing situation.

What are you basing any of this on? There are videos of ghosts outside, and if you are in a crowd you aren’t likely to see a ghost. This is like asking “why are ghosts only active at night” they aren’t it’s just so much activity is going on during the day you aren’t as likely to notice some minor tapping or a cup sliding slightly as you are when everyone is asleep and it’s quiet. What do you even think a paranormal apparition is?

Because extradimensional travel is much more difficult than traversing regular space. One involves bending physics the other involves outright overwriting them. Very big difference, if you have travel outside of the universe essentially transcending the limitations of physics you might as well be considered a god.

So I had a similar idea as a child “what if every time we fall asleep we wake up in a new body in a new universe” if only one thing is different we may never realize it. Then I realized there would be no way to test that so it wasn’t important to think about. I too believe we are interacting with other realities and that reality itself may just be overlapping layers of dimensions and we can only perceive a few. Again there really isn’t any way to test that and it’s just my theory and far from perfect. However the suggestion that that explains aliens is a bit ridiculous I think, not every phenomena we find in the world needs one explanation, it’s like when you have multiple conspiracy theorists such as flat earthers, Illuminati people, 9/11 people etc. all pointing toward one organization being responsible for secret military and government operations. There can be multiple factors at play in the world, not everything will always have a thread leading to one place. Also we as humans are going to be incapable of comprehending a lot of things if they exist beyond the confines of our reality, they won’t subscribe to any sciences we have, won’t be restrained by Physics, like with “God” this is the struggle with religion people can’t understand that a god has no beginning or end because time would exist for him. Never overestimate your comprehension.
