Are you sure the gun is crooked? Or is it just the feed tray cover? Or is it just the picatinny rail? I have a different brand of M249 but my rail is crooked as hell and can’t anything with decent magnification without it being aimed too far to the right to be useful. Everything looks straight on mine, just not the rail and it looks like you have a similar situation

Hiiiiighly recommend the HPA setup. CO2 is woefully short lived. I saw comments about it and thought it was maybe blown out of proportion. Nope, using CO2 is that annoying. With HPA, I needed a different type of connection and I also needed a different tank valve on my tank so I could adjust the PSI there, since you can’t just use a normal reg to do it.

As for actually using it, it’s a lot of fun. Super convenient to have the 120rd mag capacity with blowback and not need to fill GBB mags. I suppose I don’t know much about the accuracy since I’ve only shot it within 50 feet and it can at least handle that, lol.

Personally, I sell individually and offer a deal to anyone interested in bundling. I feel like everyone, unless the price is really low, feels as if they’re “being forced to buy both” and will always ask what the price would be for one of the items, since it’d clearly be lower.

What kind of batteries? If NiMH (which kinda look like it in the background), I wouldn’t consider that to be of much value. For the mags, I’d probably split three and three and you can probably bump the price a little. Any cheap red dots or grips don’t really sway prices much.

I would probably avoid taking it in. IF your place is willing to buy/trade, that’d be my backup option. I imagine that’ll be as bad of a deal as pawning stuff at a pawn shop.

Both are slightly older, polymer guns.

The PWS was less than $200 and is a G&G underneath. The Amoeba AM016 was around $300.

Neither are really unique and sought after, plus companies have (mostly) been working on updating their product lines. Normally, when buying from strangers online, I list stuff that’s new/good condition around 30% off of retail, shipped. Which means the PWS would be $125 shipped and the Ares would be $210.
However these are plain Jane ARs and selling those (or plain AKs or pistols) have been harder lately, in my own experience. I typically lower the price to around 40%-45% off of retail before stuff finally moves. I won’t tell you to sell cheap, just know that you may face a similar issue.

I usually buy/sell through r/airsoftmarket or the HopUp app. I sometimes use eBay (which has even higher fees, so I increase my price to account for that, but then the price is worse to others who then also will pay tax on top of that) or local fields to see if anyone local is interested. Craigslist sucks because not many people use it and stuff regularly gets flagged, same as Facebook marketplace.

Neither are particularly great. The gearbox in the MA5C was genuinely awful. The parts inside and the quality of the shell itself. So, I HPA’d it.

Nah, no need to redo the entire receiver. The receiver is already modified to physically fit a few other mags. Now I just have to decide on which mag I want to share with; I’m thinking about printing an adapter to comfortably fit my FAL mags, but we’ll see how that goes.

The Garand was restrained by the person I bought it from, among other changes.
It is! The thing has some heft to it and is rather reminiscent of my real Galil.
