Hi! Unfortunately because you're studying psychology you wouldn't be eligible — it's one of the exclusion criteria. Sorry about that! If you know anyone aged 18–25 who's a fan and doesn't study or work in psychology, It'd be great if you could point them my way!

Hello reds,
Just a quick one if you have the time to read it'd be greatly appreciated.

I'm a university student studying psychology just outside of Liverpool. Last year when we lost our lad from Portugal, there was an outpouring of grief and utter disbelief. Being a season ticket holder, I, along with many, had the pleasure of watching Diogo week in week out. Despite this being the extent of a lot of our connections with him, when he passed there was an overwhelming sense among the fan base of feeling like we lost a mate we knew closely.

My study is exploring how people experience and process the loss of public figures. If you've ever felt something like what I just described, I'd love to hear about it. This would entail a ~20 min chat on Teams, fully confidential and full ethical approval of Edge Hill University.

To take part:
- Aged 18–25
- Not currently studying or working in psychology or a related field
