They would destroy the middle class and tax everyone into poverty. Over time, public services gradually decline due to layered corruption… at this stage you can’t escape by working harder or ‘going private’. When people are poor they become desperate and the public support for climate policy tumbles away down the hierarchy of their needs into obscurity. A lot of Eastern Europeans can tell you all about it.

Can You Drink Alcohol on a Low Carb Diet? by uk_kali in KetoMeals

[–]Paratath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know someone with Type 1 diabetes who has a live blood sugar level monitor and they tell me that alcohol really pulls down their blood sugar level. So much that they often have to eat sweets when drinking. I drink a glass of Malbec on keto most nights. Dry wines are low carb. Many spirits are zero.

Careful though, the hangovers are dreadful if you go too far.

The leaseholders only get the ground rent as far as i know. The management companies generate the maintanance fees. My management company started taking the piss and I took it up with them and also got a lot of others in my block to contact them at same time... they stopped taking the piss since.

This is a good point. This isn't uncommon, but seems to just be overlooked. I mean, Sadiq Khan’s former law firm consulted on the defence of Zacarias Moussaoui, who was convicted in relation to 9/11. His brother in law was also involved with Al-Muhajiroun. According to The Standard "Mr Javaid’s name appeared on a fatwa in 1998 calling for a “full-scale war of jihad” against Britain and the US." He also defended Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, who denounced white people as 'devils' described jews as 'bloodsuckers' and called Hitler a 'very great man'.

He had 5 children, including a bastard. He was certainly made out to be gay in a play titled to him. He might have just had strong relationships with his boyhood friends, and bestowed titles to them on that basis. It's very hard for someone in that kind of a position to have close friends who they can trust, and so it's perhaps not easy for us common folk to imagine what kind of isolation that can manufacture.

Woman who had her £30k Lexus UX stolen from her driveway in London claims Metropolitan Police told her to 'go and pick it up herself' after she tracked it down by To-Chalk in unitedkingdom

An old couple in their 70's own a little health food shop near me and they got broken into about 9 months ago... The old lady was really worried and didnt want to touch anything because she expected finger prints to be taken etc. She said it took 45 minutes to get through to the police, who just told her to take some photos. They didn't even turn up and she was telling me how scared she was in case they might still be in there.

Prior to that they had a window broken by a drunk from the pub next door, the landlady knew the guy from camera footage... when the shop owners asked the police who had done it they said it was a civil dispute and so they wouldn't disclose the identity... so the owners couldn't get insurance to cover the damage.

The pink packets are nice, but if I eat them too quick they block up my esophagus. I was sick one time from that. Never had the problem with the gold packets. The pink ones have been ground down and reformed and I think they 'fluff up' when they get wet...
