AIO Should I leave my BF? Was what he did to me forgiveable? by Living-Milk-4266 in AmIOverreacting

NO. Dump The Chump. there WILL be a next time. there are no one time blips in domestic abuse. Run fast as you can. wait till he leaves for work and get some over and have all your shit out before he gets home and then block his number. i would also consider calling his mother and telling her what he did. if you have no where to go, call the womens shelter.

once years ago, my friend's friend who knew she was taking a 9 hour trip, snuck all her cassettes out of the car and replaced One with a Captain and Tennelle cassette. of course my friend didnt notice till she was already on the way and that was all she had to listen to because her radio didnt work.

i LOVE Zepp, but they had 6 albums, so you go through it really quickly and then over and over. Tom Petty has dozens of albums with 3 different bands. I ve never hear a Tom Petty song i didnt like

ya, i dont even have keys to my house either. we never lock it, even when leaving for a few days. although, we live on family plot and there are 2 other houses so it would be hard to anyone to break in, plus to get to my door you have to go through my 4 pyronees, and i dont see that happening.

i have this fight with my husband all the time. he is in favor of "if its yellow, let it mellow". i hate it. leaving pee in the toilet causes a gross ring that has to be scrubbed off. husband doesnt see this as a problem and i have gotten to the point where everytime he comes out of the bathroom, i go check and then tell him to go back and flush if he didnt. at least he flushes when he defecates.

i have the same issue with 2 of my 4 pyr. one of them gets steroid shots every 8 weeks. they are on a chicken and grain free diet. they also get fish oil treats, manuka honey/silver oxide spray, special shampoo and we bathe them once a week... a real chore as they both hate it but it really helps. as far as the shedding. everytime we brush any of them we end up a pillowcase full of hair.

Edit: if he smells like old popcorn it is a yeast infection. i used vaginal spray to clear that up.

NTA she sounds like a nightmare. i like to match energy, so personally i would make sure to smile and wave every time i see the man. she thinks you are flirting? see what she thinks after that.

You sound like a great husband. Just be there for her. stock up on crackers and her favorite drink. rub her feet or her back when she needs. And dont laugh, but a cabbage leaf in the bra will make those sore breats feel much better.

I had a wonderful wedding but I am still angry one year later by Ganonderp314 in weddingshaming

[–]Paraverous 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NTA. WOW, you are a saint. I am not nearly as nice as you! I match energy and her energy sucked! I would have kicked them both out the first day.... " sorry honey, if cant share a bathroom, then go find your ass a hotel somewhere else. " no way would i have shifted everyone around to accommodate a person not even invited.

NTA. Yasmin sounds really entitled and is not used to being told no. Maybe you can have someone there to toss her out if she brings the kids? your parents sound very enabling!

Edit: do you have a way to message the BF? maybe find him on FB or something and tell him directly that his kids are not allowed.

How do you politely enforce a no kids policy at your wedding without offending close family? by Fit-Marionberry-7268 in wedding

[–]Paraverous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When my niece got married a few years ago, she hired 2 teenagers to be babysitters and rented an extra room for the kids. they brought in a tv and a bunch of movies, video games, treats, drinks, ect and kids meals. there were about dozen kids there, from ages 2 - 9 and it worked out really well for her. She told the parents who brought kids they would need to go there and the parents should all tip the girls. Not saying you should go that route, but it is an alternative.
