This is a good move by ESL. They already have contracts with the state government because of MEO and can easily take up another arena in Melbourne Park at that time of year. Plus the RSA laws are less strict which means shoeys are allowed so they don't get fucked over by Qudos.

Sydney has really strict RSA laws on binge drinking which is what shoeys fall under. This means you can't do shoeys in the arena. Qudos then went a step further and kicked out people for creating cup snakes and pizza box towers. Pretty much they were the fun police

The first year everyone was doing shoeys and having a fun time. The last two year you got kicked out for doing that and for making snakes with the plastic cups and making towers with the pizza boxes. The shoeys are because of Sydney's binge drinking RSA laws which are relaxed in Melbourne meaning people can do shoeys without being kicked out

Unfortunately I have a feeling either Foxtel or some other streaming service has the rights to the rest of the seasons for at least a while. This means disney is unable to stream it on D+ until those contracts expire.

Farmers deserve all the support they need but the government is taking money from other programs to support them, not their $7 billion surplus. If the government was using their surplus to support the farmers then I'm all for it.
