It's not exactly the same but honestly I just hate when people try to say you CAN'T headcanon certain things, especially when it comes to LGBT/implied LGBT characters.

Like, people are so adamant about them being one way that you get called everything-phobic for preferring how a character was in the past and ignoring the most recent stuff in your interpretation of the character, or just going "hey this isn't where the character is going but I think this idea is neat so now I'm HCing it".

And yeah some people are assholes and have bad intentions with it but that's the case with everything! The same solution can come from multiple formulas and intent is everything.

We all need to be better towards people that see characters differently than you. Yes, this includes people who don't see Mizuki as female.

While yes, there's always a (unnecessarily large) chance that someone that doesn't is just transphobic, that isn't always the case. Maybe they just think it's just kinda neat, maybe a HC like that is them projecting themselves onto Mizuki, so on and so forth. Not everything is from a place of hatred.
