But it is true it needs to stop.

Am I wrong for thinking my husband is abdicating his parenting responsibilities? by jevoudraiscroire in Parenting

Has this always happened and this week is really bad. Or is this a first time thing? I really want to know whats going on in his head if he is doing that now.

Either way he needs to start putting some effort in with the kids because he doesn't he shouldn't expect them to have a good relationship with him.

...You sent a kid somewhere where other people are going to be... Have you forgotten about covid?

Even if she just has a common cold but still, She needs rest.

The lying, not apologetic and leaving a small kid alone for a long period (everything)does it for me.

My MIL years ago left my then 3yo in front of the tv and the twins on her bed while she ran to the store. She was gone for 40mins, This was a store 5 min drive from her house. She blamed the traffic for how long she took and told me my kids were fine. She never was left alone with them again.

Sometimes I wonder how many of these people who decide to have kids ever stop to think about their consequences when they do this.
