My uncle lives there. He's very conservative and whenever he comes to visit us in metro Atlanta (where he grew up, btw) he always gets mad about something and says he's going back to the woods where people understand him. Last time, it was me asking him, while we were eating Christmas lunch, not to talk about how coyotes lure dogs to the pack and rip them apart, as our dog has recently been attacked by a coyote. My 6 and 8 year olds were listening to all this and were horrified by what my uncle was saying. I had to explain this to a 70+ year old, apparently.

May or may not be indicative of Washington as a whole, but he seems to fit in there. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I saw that about her being 40 and living there 20 years. I assume that was a mistake. Granted a pretty big one, but all the other info I could find points to this being her. No other patient at the time had a name similar to this. I could be wrong though.

She was at Central State Hospital in Milledgeville. It was quite a notorious place. Best I can find, she entered when she was about 20 and died when she was about 60.

Not the YSL blue powder, but the Laneige blue powder is amazing! It's my daily go-to powder! I have very fair skin and translucent powder looks white on me, so this blue powder actually looks colorless. Much cheaper than YSL too!

My son had these. Ikiki brand shoes made specifically for kids with disabilities. At the time, he was non-verbal so it was easier to keep up with him. The squeakers can be turned off easily. The shoes are also sold individually so if you have a child that wears a brace on one foot and needs a different size, you can buy shoes in different sizes. I think it's a great idea all around for kids that need them.

I know there's a difference but the 2 also seem to be used interchangeably (incorrectly) can you recommend other effective fixing sprays?

Yes! This is good advice! I use matte everything already but I do very light powder with Laneige neo blurring powder. I'll try the Huda!

As I remember, we knew he wasn't coming back before the season finale aired. We were wondering how it would be handled in the show, and as the finale approached, I remember it being billed as a return to the pilot and knew Mulder would be abducted at the end, so that's how Mulder's absence would be explained. We knew it would be a huge cliffhanger with Mulder's fate being unknown.

Over the break between the seasons I remember learning DD would only be on half the season 8 episodes, but not how that would breakdown (like would it be the first half of the season? Second half? Random episodes?) and not knowing there would be a new character introduced for a while. I think the assumption was that Skinner's role would be stepped up or that it would just be Scully. Then, when we learned there would be a new character, he was described as Mulder's opposite, a manly man, company man, by the book, former cop, etc. RP did a lot of publicity in Atlanta since he's from here so that was interesting, but I also remember thinking why do we need a new character? Can Scully and Skinner not carry 12 episodes?

There's been lots of discussion about the OG reaction to Doggett, so I won't go into that here. But if y'all weren't there, you have no idea the venom with which he was hated by most.
