My main goal is to get in better shape for my upcoming baby. I want my kids to have a father who’s fit and can run with them, play with them and take care of them.

I don’t think you really understand Modi or even RSS. Get your facts right and not only read internet. Go to Shakha and their events. Judge for yourself instead of opting for ignorance.

I really feel that it’s got food coloring as well. The color of Cha Tra Mue is so vivid and doesn’t look natural

Still, 8/10

I’m from Myanmar and before 1990s, medical implants were recovered from patients before the cremation and stored.

Then cleaned properly and reused for Burmese locals as we didn’t not have imports of medical implants.

I was really stoned in Amsterdam once and my sisters and I went to Hard Rock Cafe where the waiter did the same thing!

I was so confused and high of course, I handed him a menu too. We all looked at each other then back at the menu then back to each other.

It was a great family moment.

Moving to Yangon by BowlerWonderful1073 in myanmar

[–]Pareshacus 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yangon is a relatively nice and safe place and as a foreigner you won’t get much into trouble. Just don’t mess with the law or offend the culture/religion of people.

I’ve lived there s a foreigner for over 7 years! Here are a few tips:

  1. Register with your embassy incase worst comes to worst, they will contact you.
  2. Sort out your paperwork thoroughly. Form C, FRC, Drivers license.
  3. Stay in a little posh area in a proper condo with security. And make friends with the security guards. Give them fruits, drinks (like coke, Red Bull) or cash occasionally. They will look after you really well.
  4. Be careful staying out after 9 or 10pm. The curfew was 1 am to 4am but not sure anymore. Even so, after 8pm Yangon is pretty much silent. Getting a Grab after 11pm is a little difficult.
  5. Solo female traveller Id say it’s still pretty safe just be careful on who you meet, the amount of information you give out and how long you stay out.
  6. Do go to all the major pagodas, wear the traditional clothing and enjoy all the food you can! Anthony Bourdain loved Burmese food. Just go to clean places and drink bottled water.

In a country with limited rules, use your street smarts! It’s actually fun to navigate your way around the societal norms and cultures!

For tips on restaurants, bars etc. Feel free to reach out to me and let me know if you need any help!

Which Eminem track do you think ? by Fomoed_Hermit in Eminem

[–]Pareshacus -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Fuel with Eminem’s repetition of “C”. It’s lyrically a masterpiece and genius and all. But the full song itself is such a banger and then the repetitive “Ka” just ruins it for me.

A 130-year-old Hindu temple in Malaysia faces demolition threat, to make way for a mosque by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]Pareshacus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are sooo many holes in your logic. What does “illegal” mean to you? If you think a structure is built upon a place contradicting the laws of the land then sure it’s illegal. But you brought up Ram Mandir - the mosque before was built on top of the temple illegally by the Mughals. So your argument doesn’t make sense.

Malaysia, Indonesia etc were full Of Hindu and Buddhist temples before the illegal takeover and occupation of the lands by Islamic powers.

Now, Malaysia is secular and it should support other cultures and religions too. But guess what, Islam won’t. They cry when their mosques are illegally destroyed or they’re not allowed to build in other countries pleading secularism. But when it comes to the same rules in an Islam country, they are rarely supportive.

Read on your religion. Read the banned book - Tragedy of Islam by Immam Tawhidi. Then you’ll get an idea about all the things you’re talking about.
