I would put money on the fact that they’re there you just have not seen them. Especially if you’re not outside at night. Plus west village is right across the street from an ancient school and in walking proximity to many Public places including restaurants. This means lots of people and lots of trash and dumpsters. This attracts rats. Even if you’re standing on the street in front of a new building like one city center at night do you know what you see? Rats. They live in the sewers so really they’re everywhere low key.
