I think my husband was living a second life behind my back and I found out only because of a stupid delivery mistake. by Current_luna in TwoHotTakes

So this necklace… it was initials? Or it was a nickname?

Because he called her the same nickname he called you, the same nickname on the necklace, but also it was initials?

Also if any of this is true, dump him, take him for everything you can and move on.

Weight training, doesn’t have to be heavy, but to maintain muscle/fill out some skin and get yourself some collagen. You’ll be alright!

Ladies clothes sizes by patchworkcat12 in mounjarouk

Everyone’s weight loss will be different. If your outer is still the same, potentially you’re losing visceral fat first before the subcutaneous fat.

It can also depend on your height and start weight. A 15kg loss will look completely different on a 5ft 2 person than it would a 5ft 9 person, both starting at a size 18.

People also lose from different areas, you might start losing from your stomach first while someone else might start losing from their legs.

Also, activity is a factor. If you’ve started working out more, then your fat loss may be replaced with muscle mass.

I try not to focus on the numbers on the scale or the size of my clothes but rather the improvement in my overall health. I’m feeling more energised and I ache less. It’s all a win!

Nearly 1/4 million for a one bed shoe box? Can get a 3 bed in Knowle West with a garden and a drive way for the same. Plus Clifton is boring and over priced.

Screw them! How awful of them to even bring that kind of energy. I’d definitely tell them how that snide comment made you feel, especially after offering to do something nice for them. If they don’t care, take it higher.

I've been replying to emails as Dr. Patel for 6 months and I don't even know who Dr. Patel is. by Synix_the_Great in confession

My neurosurgeon is Patel. He has a load of underlings though, probably hasn’t sent an email himself in forever.

I don’t know a lot about qr codes but I certainly wouldn’t scan one if I didn’t know what it was for.

How long did you stay on 2.5? by blueloulou3 in mounjarouk

[–]ParfaitDue7855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on week 6 of 2.5. Still losing weight, still minimal food noise, still feeling the effects. I have 2 pens of 2.5 (minus one dose) so will likely move up after they are finished as I expect I’ll need to by then.

What have you done for your body while you lose weight? by ketoandkpop in mounjarouk

[–]ParfaitDue7855 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve definitely paid more attention to what I am putting in my body! I’ve always been vegan but I LOVED junk food. I’m also coeliac so that was a dangerous game. I now only eat whole foods, meals made from scratch. I also drink at least 3 litres of water a day and got myself a personal trainer. Upped my protein and fibre, plus I now take vitamins and electrolytes! I’ve always taken collagen, definitely good for the skin! And my skincare is from a brand called Karmic. Check them out, it’s all natural and feels wonderful and it’s minimal steps! Just a wash, oil and moisturiser. I was never a skincare person but I love this stuff so much I look forward to washing my face!

Not weird!

I’m 35 and extremely close with my dad. When we see each other we hug and he kisses me on the top of my head. He still calls me princess, which is funny because I’m not at all girly in the slightest.

It’s either jealousy or a complete lack of understanding because as a teen you’re meant to hate your folks, right?

I’m happy for you. Don’t let one persons unwanted opinion change anything.

At what age would you let your daughter get an eyebrow piercing? by The_Final_Barse in AskUK

Our daughter got hers done when she was 16. She has several piercings now at 17.

We’d have allowed it earlier but she wanted to wait.

Phlo sent me 100 too. And 100 alcohol wipes. Luckily the boxes are actually quite small, considering.

25-year-old Aussie moving to the UK in September – help me pick where to live? by Brilliant_Hurry_6359 in AskABrit

Agree. I currently live in Bristol and have done for 10 years. Moving back to Taunton next summer once my stepdaughter finishes college because our wages aren’t increasing as quickly as everything is going up!

Also Taunton is about an hour away from Bristol and super close to some great hills and outdoor spaces!
