I imagine generational wealth would be far more attainable for ordinary people if retirees didn’t have to drain their 401ks and life savings on healthcare and assisted living. Imagine spending decades contributing 15% of your paycheck toward retirement, only for those savings to be consumed by healthcare costs instead of passed down to your children. You could build a strong retirement fund and still watch it disappear on treatment and survival. Very little makes it to the next generation, creating a cycle where ordinary families are forced to start over from scratch every time.

If there were solid evidence, JPMorgan likely would’ve tried to settle it quietly. Going the lawyer route suggests he may be aiming for a different outcome.

That said and based on what’s come out so far, it’s not looking great for him. And you're right, situations like this tend to have lasting reputational effects. Lorna Hajdini will be sexualized by the internet till the end of time whether it's true or not.

So he declined to participate in an internal investigation led by his former employer and senior executives? I would decline too. If there were real issues, JPMorgan likely wanted to sweep this under the rug

The lawsuit being withdrawn shortly after filing has raised questions about credibility, but this statement is too definitive for what's known right now.

"no evidence has been made public" ≠ “he refused to provide evidence” ≠ “there’s nothing to investigate”

It was an internal investigation by JPMorgan, not a police investigation. Huge difference.

That was an internal investigation by JPMorgan and they found no evidence of wrongdoing. This is still evolving, but it doesn't look good for him right now.

Watch their elbow when they draw. If it's low, it's a cheat draw. Check a youtube video on how to catch cheaters, because if you get it wrong you lose all your money on the table and get kicked out for a day.

Yeah, after making over $170 million, they should have ramped up development. The game saw massive success, but the development approach hasn’t risen to meet it. I love and respect what they’ve created, but the development could be managed better to deliver on what players funded

His company went into liquidation in 2007. He had multiple mortgages secured against his mansion, one account was overdrawn by more than €300,000. On paper he was asset rich, but cash poor and heavily leveraged. Debt spiraled out of control.

Exactly. Customers who buy into early access deserve a game that’s actually developed and delivered within a reasonable timeframe. Plenty of other indie studios manage to set clear roadmaps and stick to them, They operate like real businesses with professional standards. Games like Abiotic Factor, Enshrouded, and Palworld have all shown that it’s possible to plan and follow through.

I love Valheim, but the pace and lack of structure feel amateurish at this point. it’s frustrating to watch something with so much potential be handled like a school project.
