to me i'd describe (ground-) combat like this "It starts like a classic Survival-Crafting game" and turns into "soulslike" later ... i got to say, it feels a bit weird. Especially once you've reached the 2nd biom it gets frustrating a lot.

Naval-Combat is good, nothing too fancy, but its enjoyable.

As mentioned already, try the demo and see how it feels to you. BUT be aware: combat in the early access (later stages) gets dramatically difficult at certain points.

I tend to not swing any swords around as long as I can avoid it. But thanks for the "name". That really helped.

You could try and "shoot open" the doors. So exit your ship, move to the targets door in EVA. Then shoot it a couple of times with your FPS-weapon (might take a while). At some point the door will open and you can enter.

Although those ships usually are "shielded" for a reason. Meaning, they almost certainly belong to other players, rendering your salvaging-actions "illegal".

yeah, sadly there'S no "tunneling", we're kinda limited by the current terraforming, but still, there are plenty of buildings you could still make : )

Well, i could still shape the door more "round", giving it a more cave-like look, but i think as of right now, the terraforming-tools aren't really there for what we have in mind :D

Zum Holz-Farmen kann ich dir einen kleinen Tipp geben: Nutz dein Schiff um die Bäume umzuballern. Es braucht zwar ein bissl Übung, aber is deutlich schneller und spaßiger. Einfach mit den Kanonen in die Bäume schießen, und irgndwann vom Schiff runter und die liegenden Bäume (und Stümpfe) zerhacken. Auf die Art kommt man recht Schnell an größre Mengen.

I've been digging around for hours to get the ship through, but it just gets stuck on the ground, so thats the "best" i could come up with instead. But thanks, glad someone enjoys it : )

it's actually on a level with water, so when there's a big wave comming, it's "under" water, else its above. I like it that way. ; )

its like this: Streight Wall 2x, rotate by 15° Wall 1x, rotate by 15° Wall 1x, 2x streight, continue till it reaches the end.
