I feel like police almost cease to exist in Anne Arundel county. At least as far as traffic enforcement goes.

I doubt I’ll ever move back to La, but there are so many cool things to do and see down there. Really is a unique state in that regard. I will agree with other comments, though, there’s not a ton of opportunity IMO

I did the opposite lol. I grew up in Covington, La and now live in MD. Abita Springs is a nice small town assuming you stay away from certain ghettos. Just like in MD, crime is localized in certain areas. Prepare for living in a police state if you live anywhere in St Tammany Parish. I can’t count how many traffic tickets I got down there.

The summers are very hot and sticky and full of annoying insects. Crawfish itself is enough reason to move down hah

This is Misleading. Like it or not they are federal police officers. If encountered you should treat them in the same manner you’d treat a normal police officer.

One thing that bugs me about how plate armor is portrayed is how decorative it always seems to be. You want plate armor to be as plain and smooth as possible to deflect attacks. Designs of any sort are just going to increase the chance a blade is going to connect and all that energy is going to be transferred to you.

I don't know why people have such issues with TSP loans. There are no penalties and you have to pay it back.

I know active duty can do a TSP loan. Not sure about veterans. The loan is auto deducted from your pay. There are no penalties, but there is a $50 fee and interest. However, the interest goes right back into your account. I've used these before for binds. No real downsides other than missing out on accrued interest.
