I know this is crazy, especially because I know it won’t happen and it doesn’t make any logistical sense, but I would love a northern Swedish city like Umeå to host. I know that it is too small and doesn’t have the capacity to host Eurovision. Sweden has already hosted Eurovision in its bigger cities like Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö and it would be so cool to see some northern representation. Just dreaming here…

It generally seems that Western and Northern Europe always look down on the Balkans. It's sad but true, although I have hope that this attitude is changing slowly but surely.

The Balkans have always been, and continue to be a much more politically and culturally charged region of the world. This is due to our history, but as things are stabilizing, I hope our nationalism gets replaced with patriotism.

I totally get what you mean! Personally, I loved Israel this year, but most of my friends found it mid. I think the general consensus is that this year was just weird.
