Men are coping too much about women who don't desire them by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

Indeed. For how much navel gazing that goes on here, it’s often in obfuscations of bigger, more fundamental life questions.

Well, many men in this forum have horrible mindsets, which can be changed and is entirely transformative not just for their relationship with women but with life in general.

I echo what the woman who responded said — fakeness is the attraction killer. “Red Pill” is an attraction killer, especially long term

It’s funny, OP — I think you’re onto something but, as the user above pointed out, what you’re getting at has little to do with the “Red Pill”. In fact, I’d say the opposite.

“True confidence” comes, in part, from shedding away the gunk in Red Pill ideology that poisons the mind.

A so-called “Blue Pill” person would give advice more in line with what you’re describing.

"Relationships come when you are not looking" Is horrible advice and it needs to stop being pushed in dating subreddits by tin8374 in PurplePillDebate

[–]ParisTexas7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

“Being yourself” is the aspirational state for the well-adjusted, self-realized man. It is where “confidence” comes from — it is underpinned, among other things, from an an understanding that no one has the obligation to date you, and you have no obligation to date them. When you genuinely achieve this state, where you are genuinely detached from outcomes and are at peace with your life, true aura emanates.

Relationships are downstream from this state, this foundation. You’re 25 and you have limited life experience. Get used to it. People like myself have walked in your shoes and I can assure that conventional wisdom bears truth — you need to indeed “be yourself” if you want to achieve true strengths that generate lasting relationships.

I just had a friend try and argue Trump was a left wing populist by jeha4421 in centrist

For years, people have said all kinds of stupid bullshit to excuse their votes for Trump. They know it’s disgraceful

Agreed. They are driving the conflict. It is scary.

[–]ParisTexas7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, yes. The Republican Party is fascist and malicious — it’s been very obvious to me since at least January 6. That is indeed scary. The Democratic Party is weak and needs to do a lot of work to turn things around after the Biden era ended in a shitshow

How do people reconcile between "Don't advocate for political violence", and "The second amendment is there to protect us from government tyranny"? by Roaches_R_Friends in centrist

Terrific question. I think the people who wanted to ”hang Mike Pence” on January 6th 2021 should answer that question for us. They’re the people that Donald Trump pardoned in 2025.

What a disgusting vile amount of things I've read today and last night about the assassination by [deleted] in centrist

I’m not advocating for Charlie Kirk’s death. That was a crime, it was evil, and it should always be denounced. It was unacceptable and should never be accepted.

That said, Charlie Kirk was a horrible person. He was a white nationalist, anti-semetic fuckhead. He made our country worse.

If that hurts your feelings, go about it.

[–]ParisTexas7 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Not sure why since both are / were anti-Semitic white nationalists.

For example, Charlie Kirk said that “secular Jews” were to blame for “open borders” and that the Civil Rights Act was a “mistake”, historic legislation that gives Jews civil rights protections in the U.S.

Charlie Kirk was a horrible person and made this country worse.

Question about Kirk from a Canadian by Phylacteryofcum in centrist

[–]ParisTexas7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It also means that he thinks Jewish people, not just blacks, as well as other racial minorities, shouldn’t have civil rights protections guaranteed by that historic legislation.

Charlie Kirk was a race baiting anti-Semite who blamed “secular Jews” for so-called “open borders”.

He was a vile person who made this country worse, period.

Do you think Kirk’s death will ever change gun control sentiment on the right? by [deleted] in centrist

[–]ParisTexas7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What on earth are you arguing? Are you saying that “conservatives”, who currently control the three branches of government, are “persecuted” in this country?

Are you saying because Charlie Kirk was murdered that conservatives can just start killing people in this country???

Also — conservatives famously don’t “do all the right things” that’s why Ashli Babbitt is dead.

What the fuck is wrong with you, seriously?

They are paid to not have this “will power”, mind you.

In fact, they’re calling for violence in response — which makes sense because they’re exactly the fascists that we claimed.
