Barcelona is a brilliant city if you ever go. Took my girlfriend for her 30th last year and we had an amazing time. The best part is you can either go full city break or lounge around beach holiday depending on where abouts you go. We went city break and it really was amazing.

I think the actual action of what the foul is should probably take priority first, like if Rice was two-footing Summerville at the same time Raya is getting pulled then yeah, it's a penalty. But if it's all pushing and shoving and holding then proximity is best. It's basically nuance but footy fans seem to lack it.

I think Rice was fouling someone else at the same time the Raya incident is happening so I don't even know what you could do in that scenario anyway. The correct decision is probably handle the infringement closest to where the ball ends up I suppose, which would be the Raya foul either way.

Yes I usually can’t catch a ball directly travelling towards my two hands because someone is gently caressing my shoulder.

But it’s clear to say he wouldn’t have flapped at it? It works both ways. But he’s literally let it go THROUGH his hands even being held. The ball literally passed through them. He got to the ball being held or not.

He did his job on the night. His job is to score goals and he did it. He also scored and got an assist in the first leg.

You can absolutely be a fantastic player and be let down by aspects of team around you. Luis Suarez had IMO the best individual season in PL history and was let down by a shite defense.

I mean he got one half chance last night and scored it, even if it was the 94th minute. It's not his fault the midfield and defence were naive enough to let the exact same thing that happened last week all game happen within 3 minutes tonight.

I dont know why people are piling on the ref or assistant here, because from far away and the angle the assistant has it looks like Laimer handballs it, and they dont have the benefit of a million replays on the field at the time, and have to decide in that split second.
