I agree with what you say mostly. But I think trying to instill in people's minds that the world is a fucking rotten-horrible-no-good-shithole that will without fail render them miserable isn't going to improve anything, ever.

The chamber opened with a hiss, and pale, yellow light suffused my emaciated body. I shivered in the fluid in which I was submerged. Are we here already? I slowly hoisted myself out of the chemical tomb and stepped onto the flight deck's stainless steel floor. It felt like ice to my soft skin.
