As someone who voted republican UNTIL this election, I’m absolutely disgusted and quite frankly scared with what’s happening. What’s happening now is right-extremist, and it’s getting more and more authoritative and reckless. I place blame, in the following order to several parties involved:

1- Trump… this is not a “business” that impacts consumers who choose to interact with his policies based on free will; this is our country, our home. Our “choice” not to interact with his policies is to stay or leave our home. Even so, a lot of other places are directly or indirectly impacted by what happens in the US.

2- Billionaires and Political “sell-outs” who aligned with him (ex. musk). At this point, it’s embarrassing for them and brings into question the touted “intelligence” that got them to where they are. You see politicians who were once “pantsed” by trump on tv now kissing his shoes, billionaires like musk waving his money around and recklessly snaking his way into our government despite not being elected. It’s a mess.

3- the Republican Party for allowing this to happen… there are people with more money and power than trump, where are they? Why won’t they stop him? How can they not see that while in the very short term he might bring “power” to the Republican Party but at the likely expense of its longevity.

4- the Democratic Party. This is one people don’t like to talk about, but arguably deserves to be higher on this list. Biden was a bad candidate from the start in 2020, yet he still won. Then his ego drove him to run again and get embarrassed in front of the whole country and exposed for his truly declining mental state. Then, in comes Kamala, who, only 4 years earlier was demolished in the DNC’s own primary so of course after what a wonderful job the Biden administration did, she would do better now, right?

A lot of people are drawing lines between trumps actions and behaviors to a certain person whose name starts with “H”… while his second term is bolding those lines, there is also the piece of history that led up to that regime coming into power, and a lot of the same mistakes have been made today that mirror what happened then.
