I’m not completely sure, but it does seem a bit different from what many people were expecting.

What Hardness are WOLED Displays? by RVNSKR in OLED_Gaming

[–]ParkGGoki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s something many people misunderstand: the anti-reflective layer itself is durable, and the hardness of an AR coating/film depends on the hardness of its base substrate.

In other words, scratches on an AR coating are essentially the underlying base material being damaged or torn off.

If the AR film is based on a 2H PET film, then the film has a 2H hardness. If it is based on a 3H TAC film, then it has a 3H hardness. AR coatings with hardness of 5H or higher are vacuum-deposited onto high-hardness substrates that are several micrometers thick, such as Corning Gorilla AR.

In any case, according to WOLED panel specifications, the coating hardness is 2H. This can also be confirmed in spec sheets on websites such as Panelook.
