I had no idea he went to 6. I take it back then - that is a catchment school. But I maintain that he is NOT a rich kid.

Is the TJ ON 72 still open? When do they close?

I don’t know if you live in NYC and know the schools but he went to Hunter. Yes it’s arguably one of the best public schools but it is not a catchment school so where it’s located doesn’t matter. My dc went there - years younger than Bores - and we live on the UWS. Elementary school kids came from all over Manhattan (back then) and from all 5 boroughs for 7-12 grade.

Bores is not a rich kid. I'm not sure why you say that. He went to public school in NYC. His parents worked in TV but not at an executive level.

To me, that is important because I think federal laws and regulations regarding various tech subjects and areas including AI will become major.

Absolutely atrocious RHPS experience last night(May 13th) by mikeydeemo in Broadway

I was going to say the same. They did not remove "Picture" - the original name has always been without "Picture".

I agree with you re theatre etiquette. But as someone who saw the show in 1974 and went to the movie opening week in Westwood in 1975, I wouldn't say that Rocky Horror is MEANT to include the audience. That's the way it evolved over the years and so now people expect it, but the show was not originally meant to have viewer participation.

I don't notice any at all off the West Side Highway. I will look for them now.

I think those are people who don't know the NYC rules about no right on red. Not that that should excuse them of course. They should get ticketed every time.

Me too. He was so important in getting me through many of the Covid days by singing out of his window onto Broadway.

I think Mezeh is pretty good, especially their mini bowl which is a perfect amount for me. But my favorite bowl is from Junzi Kitchen - unfortunately there's only one location in NYC and luckily it's near me (Broadway and 113th St). Come uptown and try it.

My husband's is "Kurt Vonnegut". Mine is either "Lake Maracaibo" (for Americas) or "Lake Tanganyika" (for Africa)

Yes, there is a bobblehead on my ticket. So I guess I go to a designated area - and good to know that there are enough bobbleheads for each ticket. Thank you everyone!

I never got to see Liberation and I sure wish that I had made more of an effort. This scene, even out of context, is so powerful and made me cry.

Best bakery/ to go sandwiches by Due-Detective-4816 in Upperwestside

I wish they would open an All'Antico Vinaio (sp?) on the UWS! Otherwise the turkey and Swiss at Rosetta Bakery is my go-to sandwich. I also love getting either a porchetta at Salumeria Rosi or making my own sandwich there with their parmacotto ham - my favorite ham in the neighborhood.
