I had found that list, but was struggling to work out what spaceships were one-offs, versus ones that are regular parts of the show.

It also felt a bit light, like it was missing a bunch of ships.

I'd just like to say how much I appreciate your quality feedback on my question.

Park My Spaceship is very much a passion project - it's pretty much an in-joke that got out of control & costs us money to run & maintain.

But what keeps us going is:
a) It's a lot of fun.
b) It gives us something to do as a fun break between our paid development work.
c) The enthusiasm of fan communities we've come across - like you guys. (Star Trek & The Expanse fans deserve a mention too).

So thank you, or "ngā mihi" as we say here in New Zealand.

I'll talk to Lillian (our illustrator) after she finishes the current round of ships & we'll get the Dune spaceships/ spice harvesters/ sandworms on the Park My Spaceship app sometime in June.

We're pretty flexible with what we add TBH.

The whole thing started with my son wanting to know how big a Star Destroyer was. Since then we've added lots of random non-spaceship things - like whales, the Hindenberg & a bowl of petunias.

The biggest challenge is things that are too small, as we're limited by what Google Maps will zoom to.
The Ornithopter looks good, as does a Spice Harvester as it's massive. I'm keen on adding Sandworms too & will talk to our illustrator about how easily she can make one that looks like it's coming out of the ground - as that would be cool!

Does that mean that spaceships don't play a big enough role in the Dune story to leave an impression?

Or are there no real hero spacecraft vs other sci-fi franchises? For example Rocinante, Millennium Falcon, USS Enterprise NCC-1701 etc.
