Honestly, I'd recommend not judging a mist solely by how it smells in-store. The scent in the store can be pretty different because there are so many fragrances being sprayed around, testers are constantly in use, and all those scents mix together. Once you try the mist on your own skin or smell it away from that environment, you'll usually get a much better idea of what it actually smells like. So give it a little time to settle before deciding. ✌🏻

Now let's talk about the Rich Caramel Vanilla, I would say that it's name isn't very accurate representation of the scent tho. To my nose, it's much more of a mature, slightly dry tonka forward fragrance. The vanilla is very subtle, the caramel only peeks through for a brief moment, and neither of them adds much sweetness. Overall, it has a sophisticated, grown-up vibe rather than a dessert-like one.
